Description

The year is 1963. Recently at a White House ceremony, President Kennedy has conferred on Churchill a unique US honor. Some weeks later, and to mark the occasion, the American-Oxford Society has arranged a celebration dinner to be held at Churchill's ancestral British home, Blenheim Palace (pronounced Blenum Palace).

Prior to the dinner, Churchill has been asked to give an informal talk about the people and events that shaped his life, many of which were to prepare him for his leadership of Great Britain during the 2nd World. He also speaks of the American contribution to his life, which actually began at birth - his mother was American. In this often humorous, sometimes touching and always engaging one-man-show, British actor, David Payne, brings Churchill to life.
